Mañueco sees the removal from Catalonia as "a robbery" to cover up the "socialist waste" and pay the separatists

The President of the Junta de Castilla y León, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has considered the debt forgiveness announced by the Government of Spain and which will be discussed this Wednesday in the Fiscal and Financial Policy Council (CPFF) to be "disloyal" and "a robbery of all Spaniards" and has considered that the only purpose of this measure is to "cover up the socialist waste" and pay "the separatists."
Fernández Mañueco referred to this matter in response to a question posed to the Plenary by the socialist spokesman, Luis Tudanca, who considered that the Junta will have difficulties in explaining to the citizens that Castilla y León rejects the forgiveness of the "mortgage" with the only argument that "they are going to forgive it to the pro-independence neighbour as well". "But what does it matter to you? If they are going to give you 3.643 million euros to help the people of Castile and Leon", the socialist spokesman has pointed out, according to Europa Press.
However, Fernández Mañueco has insisted that this measure is an agreement that the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, makes to "cover up and forgive the socialist waste" . "This is a robbery of the Spanish people because the debt that they want to forgive does not disappear, the debt does not evaporate, the debt is going to have to be paid by all Spaniards, that is, the mortgage that you say they are forgiving us is going to have to be paid by all Spaniards and we are also going to have to pay the debt of the separatists and their waste," explained the president.
For the highest representative of the Junta, the figure for debt forgiveness to Castilla y León put forward by Tudanca is "deceitful", while he has pointed out that the socialist's argument before the Plenary has been that of a "bad trickster", after which he has insisted that this forgiveness is "unfair" because "it has not been done equally". "Some benefit more than others, the separatists are going to receive 1,000 euros more per person than the citizens of Castilla y León" , he explained. "It is a bad pact for Castilla y León. Do you think that if this were good for Castilla y León, Junqueras would present it?", he asked.
However, the PSOE spokesman, after accusing Fernández Mañueco of dedicating himself to "being lazy", has pointed out that his work is focused on "attacking" the central government. "While you have been all this time encouraging the grievance to cover up your incapacity, I told you again and again that the removal would either be for everyone or it would not happen and it turns out that we were right and you have been lying all this time to the people of Castile and Leon," he criticised.
In this sense, Tudanca has guaranteed that Fernández Mañueco "lied" about this reduction with the sole purpose of putting Castilla y León at the service of the president of the PP, Alberto Núñez Feijóo. "This is like when children are caught doing something wrong and they say, no, no, it's just that my friend told me and the mother answers, and of course, if Feijóo jumps out of the window, you do too," the socialist has ironically said, who has considered that Mañueco "wants to jump out of the window with Feijóo."
"Rejecting 3.643 billion euros for Castilla y León is an absolute outrage, Mr. Mañueco. You are trying to blind us by trying to blind the Spanish Government. Not only are you forgiving us 3.643 billion euros, not only are you paying our mortgage, you are going to save us money, you are going to get 480 million euros from what you are going to save on interest payments each year," said Tudanca, who has called on Mañueco to take the side of Castilla y León "just once."
